4:00PM.  Office hours for patient examinations
are Tuesday through Thursday 7:00AM to
3:30PM (Monday is reserved for surgery at St.
John Medical Center and Friday is primarily

Balyeat can be reached by established

Patients arriving to Dr. Balyeat's office the day of an examination should anticipate having
both eyes dilated.  This will blur vision for about 4 to 5 hours (possibly longer).
Ideally, patients
should come with a friend or relative who can drive them home and be present with them, if
desired, in the examination rooms
.  From the time of check-in, to preliminary examination by
the ophthalmic technicians, to examination and possible in-office testing, and to check-out,
you may reasonably expect to spend up to 90 minutes, (possibly longer depending on the
complexity of your problem) in Dr. Balyeat's office.  Since Dr. Balyeat works into his schedule
emergency patients referred by other physicians, you may experience a delay in the start of
your examination.  Dr. Balyeat and his staff apologize in advance for any inconvenience or
anxiety that such delays may create.
